London Orzolek is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in both anthropology and women’s and gender studies.
She is originally from Wheeling, West Virginia. London will be conducting her McNair research under Dr. Susanna Donaldson, a teaching assistant professor in Anthropology. Her research will focus on the relationships between networks and education, in particular in their connection with class and access to higher education. London intends to pursue a doctoral degree in applied anthropology and work for a charity or nonprofit organization to apply anthropological principals to real world problems that the organization is focusing on. Outside of academics, London is a member of Pi Beta Phi women’s fraternity, and her passions include reading, writing, dancing, and computer editing.
