Trinity Shaver is a member of the WVU Honors College, Psychology Club, Neuroscience Club, Association for Women in Science, and Collegiate 4-H. She is a teaching assistant for an abnormal psychology course and secretary of the WVU Psychology Club. She also serves as a volunteer at Ruby Memorial Hospital. After completing college, she plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology. Her McNair research focuses on the effects of frontal TBI on risk-based decision-making in rats. She has been working in Dr. Cole Vonder Haar’s lab since her fall semester as a freshman. The lab focuses on behavioral dysfunction and development of therapeutics to treat chronic deficits. She enjoys playing guitar, learning about the different areas of psychology, and traveling with her friends and family.
