Kaley Hensley


Kaley Hensley is a junior from Chapmanville, West Virginia. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on creative writing and literature, as well as striving towards two minors: Spanish and religious studies

Kaley works as a student ambassador at the Honors College, managing social media and recruiting prospective students. She is also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society at West Virginia University, as well as the Poetry Performance Club. Her McNair research is supervised by Dr. Lara Farina, with a focus on medieval literature and the interpretations it provides for the body, sexuality, and gender. After graduation, Kaley aims to obtain an MFA in creative writing, and later, a Ph.D. in English language and literature. She desires a career in a university setting. In her spare time, Kaley enjoys taking her pug on long walks, photography, and eating her way through Morgantown with friends.
