Kelsey Barton a rising junior from Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
She is pursuing a B.A. in psychology with a minor in biology. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in behavior analysis. She is conducting her McNair research project based on an original West Virginia University study, the College Student Transition Study, under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas Turiano. She will examine how personality traits of incoming freshmen students predict their alcohol consumption during the transition from high school to college. Kelsey also plans on becoming a future member of Psychology Club. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, hanging out with her friends, and spending quality time with her family.
